About Victoria Dougherty

EVALUATION AND STRATEGIC PLANNING

 

Victoria Dougherty is an independent consultant providing evaluation services and strategy development to foundations and non-profit organizations. The emphasis of Victoria’s consulting work is helping nonprofits increase their ability to conduct and use evaluation on a systematic basis to add value to their organization. Prior to becoming an independent consultant in 2011, Victoria worked as an evaluator and consultant to foundations and non-profit organizations for over 20 years. From 2003 until 2010, Victoria was a project manager, director and then Deputy Director of the OMG Center for Collaborative Learning (recently renamed “Equal Measure”, http://www.equalmeasure.org) a nonprofit consulting firm. While at OMG, Victoria directed multiple evaluation, strategy development and evaluation training projects, in a variety of content areas including public health, human services, youth development and education. Prior to her 7 years with the OMG Center, Victoria led the community research and program evaluation unit of a statewide nonprofit planning agency, the Connecticut Policy and Economic Council, and worked as a program analyst for the US Department of Health and Human Services.  Victoria has an M.A. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College.
